KNS BACKGROUND

KNS, Inc. is a certified Small Business head-quartered in Omaha, NE. Our company was created in 2002 as a “spin-off” of a large construction management company as a direct result of the 911 attacks.

KNS management has experience in implementing large scale technology networks and facilities such as;

  • Alyeska pipeline fiber optic network: an 800 mile fiber optic network, operations center, electronics, controls, communications, security, power plants, and a 30-year maintenance contract for the Alaska pipeline.
  • E-Z pass: fiber optic network, electronics, software throughout five states in the Northeast.
  • Data centers for multiple customers throughout the US.
  • Multiple city-wide communication networks to compete with Regional Bell Operating Companies.
